We have small group Bible studies for all age groups at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays. This is a place where you can fellowship with other believers, share your insights, and learn from the insights of others. It is a place to belong, to be able to develop friendships, and to join with others in various types of team ministries.
Our weekly worship service begins at 10:45 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Dress is casual, and the people are friendly. We invite you to come be a part of a church that values God, His Word, One another, and becoming the tangible presence of Christ in Pocatello!
Some of our men meet at 6:45 a.m. on Tuesday mornings for prayer. You are welcome to come to this time of seeking God and requesting God's intervention in our lives.
On Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. we are discovering different aspects of prayer from God's word and then we try to put them into action during prayer time. Also, if you like to sing, a choir rehearsal begins at 7:30 p.m. each Wednesday evening. Come and lift your voice in praise to the Lord!
If you play a musical instrument and would like to use your skills to the glory of the Lord, consider being a part of the praise group we are building. Our church utilzes a wide variety of musical styles, and we are always trying to expand the numbers and types of our musicians, as well as incorporate other appropriate arts into our worship experience.

Jerry was given a lovely little book with the title, "God is in the Little Things." Recently we were made aware of how very true that statement is. Now you know a story follows.
The Weers and the Gilmans finally were able to make an RV trip that we had planned for some time but, for various reasons, were unable to accomplish. We spent six lovely days in Glacier National Park as we camped in the park itself. For the purposes of this article, the real story takes place during the next few days.
After leaving the park and arriving in Columbia Falls (just a few miles south of the West entrance) the engine in our rig simply quit…in a heavily traveled intersection…on Saturday…which means that no repair shop will be open.
God is in the little things. Before Ritchie could park his outfit and come to see what we might do, a fine gentleman pulled us from the intersection and was willing to do more. However, Ritchie pointed out an RV park immediately across the road…in which we spent the next four nights…and met some very interesting people. Reckon God had anything with us stopping where we did?
Next, we were able to worship with a very welcoming SBC congregation whose pastors were very helpful in pointing us to places where we could get help. We were able to get into a Chevy dealership repair shop, but were not able to get the work done when promised. Late Tuesday we simply went to see how things were going only to discover our truck still parked outside, but were informed that it had just come up and would be first the next morning. A mechanic walked by about that time and we were told he would be doing the work and we should describe our difficulty to him…which he immediately diagnosed with some certainty and wanted to see the truck. Upon verification of the problem I asked him how long it would take to fix in the morning, to which he replied that he would fix it right then…and it took all of 15 minutes.
God is in the little things.
Our only other problem occurred when a truck stop where we planned to get fuel was closed. I ran out of gas about one mile short of reaching the next station, but did so at a truck weigh station that was closed. I wasn't worried about getting to Lima because I had extra gas in the back, but did not want to use it while parked on the side of I-15 with its heavy traffic…didn't have to.
Recently Pastor Ed wrote an excellent article for our newspaper dealing with the truth that we do well to lay our cares before God because He cares for us…in the big things…and in the little things. We certainly experienced that truth.
