Groups and Classes

Gate City Baptist Church Offers small group Bible Studies each Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m.  There are groups that are age stratified for children, while youth are welcome in the Youngish Adult Group.  Small groups offer the opportunity to build community, develop friendships, learn from on another and share personal experiences with one another.

 

Adult groups include: Mixed Adults, Ladies Group, and Youngish Adults.

 

Each Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. there is also a group Bible Study led by the Pastor.  It is a verse by verse discussion of a particular book of the Bible.  The evening also involves prayer time.

 

Other Special Topic Groups (STGs) occur as scheduled, which include groups such as:  The Marriage Course (Marriage Enrichment), Grief Groups, Exploring Church Membership, How to Study the Bible, as well as Discovering My Spiritual Gifts.  Sometimes there are Beth Moore Bible Study groups, and studies on a particular book of interest.
